I'd love to get my eepsite listed on planet.i2p, and it says that to get listed, just add a feed to your homepage and wait for planet to notice it.
I added an RSS 2.0 feed to my eepsite 4 days ago, and it hasn't been picked up by planet.i2p yet. Just wondering if I'm too impatient, or is there something wrong with my feed? Or is planet even still scanning for new feeds at all?
I'd ask the page author, but couldn't find any contact info. Thanks for any help. |

It is still doing so. If I don't add a new post to mathiasdm.i2p for a while, I get removed. If I add a new one, I usually appear on planet.i2p again. _________________ shelob.ador.isn2.i2p --- Because everyone loves a *feck* huge spider. (Currently down)

To me the submission system doesn't look automated at all (at least at the first submission - it looks automated only after it was first accepted manually).
Considering the time it takes to get a site added to planet after submitting it, to me it rather looks like postman is adding the feed links manually after they are submitted.
Because if it were automated, why wouldn't planet check the feed immediately or at the next scheduled feed check?
Postman can you tell us a little more on this?
Ok, planet is also supposed to look for and add new feeds by itself. This of course can take some time.
But why does it take so long when the feed is manually submitted? |
